Talk Talk Talk and Good Food

I just watched “Supersize Me”, for the first time.  I felt physically ill for the first time, my tummy started grumpling.  I still feel nauseous.  But, it did have another effect.  It made me think about all the rubbish I have been putting into my body lately, ickkkkk.  Reality check.

So, in response, I am adding a “Good Food” category to this blog.  I will be including great, fun, healthy recipes which can be made in under an hour.  These will also be filed under “Domestic Goddess”.

I am also committing myself,  and my little one to a month of nothing but VERY healthy eating.  Fruit, Vegies, Water.  No Junk Food, no Coca Cola.  I am expecting to feel a million times better than I do now, at the end of the month.

Will keep you updated and posted with yummy food.

Mia

PS Am inspired by Vegan Lunchbox.  But am not turning vegan just yet.

Just found your blog and think it’s great! I’m sure you’ll notice a difference after a month of healthy eating. I haven’t watched that movie (we don’t eat fast food) but have heard it’s powerful. Good luck with your “healthy” month…hopefully it will last a bit longer than that!! :)

I’m sure it will last longer. Am just into breaking down my life into do-able goals , instead of saying “right from now on I will never eat junk food again”. Have learnt a lot about little steps in the past year.

Ooh, i saw that movie some time ago. Never have been able to forget it anymore!! Yuck.
I’m looking forward to reading the healthy recipes (and trying them out ofcourse!)

Good on you for making the effort. Eating crappy food is so easy, and it’s very eeasy to slip into a routine of not thiking about what we eat. For further motivation, read “Fast Food Nation”. It’s a scary book, but also an entertaining read :)
    Good Luck !
