Hi ya! Yep I know, long time no see. I am back now and will be updating more regularly. So, welcome back.

Firstly, I am excited to announce the opening of the One Hour Craft Book Store via Amazon. Anyone who knows me will know how much I love craft, quilting and any other books. And now, I can let you know which ones I recommend. I will only be including books on the store that I have read and come with a five-star rating from me.

I will also be featuring my all-time favourite books in posts on the site, from time to time.  Let me start by recommending my favourite fabric and sewing book of all time.

This book contains photos and how-to’s to manipulate fabric in every different way.  It is not a new book on the market, but I look at it like a reference book.  You can learn to make double box pleats, fabric rosettes, smocking and any other technique you can think of.  I am quite determined to learn them all!

Hello happy crafters!

No, I have not disappeared off the face of the earth. I have been moving house. What chaos. I am relieved it seems to be coming to an end.

Well, I am hopeful that everyone has sent out their tote bags for our swap and can’t wait to see the photos. Thanks to everyone who has been involved. And to all the people who have emailed me asking when we will have another swap, in a few months we will have another.

Umm, onto February. I know it is late but I think that we need another One Hour Craft Challenge…. Any ideas? Give me a day or so to work it out…

Also, we will be posting more lovely tutorials in the next few days. There are so many things in the pipeline at the moment, can’t wait to have more details to give you all.
